For the autumn semester, we are looking for dedicated staff for various roles within Eskilstuna's primary schools. This is a collective advertisement for positions where there is a need at the start of the term.

When new needs arise in our schools, we will match incoming applications with current vacancies. As part of your application, you will be asked to answer a short questionnaire. Your answers are important to us and form the basis for the matching process.

Job Responsibilities

In your application, please specify which roles you are interested in. Note that these are examples of positions that may become available; the specific roles will vary based on needs. Below you can read more about each type of position.

• Preschool Class Teacher: You teach the youngest students in preschool class. In many schools, this is combined with work in after-school care (fritids).
• After-School Care Teacher: You plan and lead pedagogical activities during after-school hours and serve as a key resource in a classroom during the school day.
• Teacher for Grades 1-3: As a class teacher in the lower grades, you teach most subjects. Exceptions include subjects like PE, music, and craft.
• Teacher for Grades 4-6: Here you work either as a class teacher in several subjects or as a subject teacher, for example in mathematics or Natural Science.
• Teacher for Grades 7-9: You are a subject teacher and teach students in one or more subjects. If you teach practical or aesthetic subjects, such as PE, home economics, music, or craft, you may encounter students from several grade levels.

Regardless of the role, you will:

• Plan and conduct teaching.
• Support students' academic and social development.
• Communicate with guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the work team.
• Create good relationships and resolve conflicts when necessary.

You will always have the support of colleagues and a work team working together for the benefit of the students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed a teacher education and hold a teaching license with eligibility to teach the subject you are interested in. It is also acceptable if you are currently studying to become a teacher and will graduate shortly. You have experience teaching according to the curriculum LGR22 through work or student teaching (VFU).

You are a confident and clear leader who is good at adapting teaching to meet students' needs. It is important that you are an engaged, responsible, and solution-focused person who thrives knowing that no two days are alike. It is also important that you have the ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians.
