We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to people and want to work as a Personal Assistant in Strömstad. With us, you will find meaningful work where your presence, sensitivity, and care contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life for the person you work with.

As a Personal Assistant, your most important task is to base your work on the individual's needs, abilities, and interests. You work based on approved services and support in daily life with everything from care and household chores to enabling an active and meaningful leisure time. The work is adapted to the individual and is characterized by respect, participation, and person-centered support.

We are in a development phase and are now creating a new staff group within personal assistance. Therefore, we are looking for you who have experience in similar work and want to be involved from the start and contribute to shaping a safe, stable, and well-functioning operation. There is an opportunity to influence working methods, collaboration, and daily routines together with engaged colleagues.

Flexibility and collaboration are important parts of our work. We also collaborate with other operations to ensure high quality and good continuity, which means you need to be open to joint planning and sometimes supporting where needs arise.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed a nursing education and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nurse assistant (undersköterska). You have a B driver's license, speak and write Swedish well, and have good computer skills, as documentation and information management are a natural part of the work. Experience with the "Individual Needs in Focus" (IBIC) working method is an advantage.

To thrive in the role, you are empathetic, sensitive, and confident in yourself. You have a good ability to adapt your working method to the individual's needs and take responsibility for creating a safe, dignified, and meaningful daily life. You can work independently based on given routines, while also valuing collaboration with colleagues and relatives.
