Description

We are looking for an engaged and creative teacher to join our team at Grythyttan School (Grades 1–6) and Klockarhagsskolan (Grades 1–9).

In this role, you will teach:

• Crafts and Art (approx. 50%) for students in grades 1–6
• Native Language and Study Guidance in Dutch (approx. 25%)

You will plan and deliver inspiring lessons that spark students' curiosity and creativity. We value an exploratory approach where students' interests and needs are at the center.

Responsibilities

• Teach crafts (grades 3–6) and art (grades 4–6).
• Teach native language and provide study guidance in Dutch.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on current regulatory documents.
• Adapt teaching to meet students' individual needs.
• Document and follow up on students' knowledge development.
• Communicate with guardians regarding students' development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching and contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Primary School Teacher degree with a focus on crafts and/or art for grades 1–6.
• Qualification or competence to teach native language (Dutch) and study guidance.
• Good ability to work based on regulatory documents and adapt teaching to students' needs.
• If no qualified applicants are found, the employer may consider hiring an unqualified candidate who is deemed suitable for the work on a time-limited basis according to the School Act.

Merits

• Experience in teaching the relevant subjects.

Conditions

The position is 75% and is distributed as approximately 50% teaching in crafts and art, and 25% native language and study guidance in Dutch. The position may be filled before the application deadline, as interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.

A teaching license is required for permanent employment. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record register) must be presented before employment.
