Morgue Van Driver / Assistant – Full Time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, shift work (day shifts, evening, and night shifts).
As a morgue van driver or assistant, you and your colleague are responsible for the transport of deceased persons. In your role, you have an active part in planning, execution, and taking responsibility for tasks based on company routines and directives.
About the Company:
Politivagn Stockholm is a company specializing in the transport of deceased persons, commissioned by the Police Authority and municipalities. The work involves shift work and is based out of our premises in Fruängens centrum. We operate based on shared values where professionalism, dignity, pride, and respect for the task are fundamental.
Responsibilities:
The work involves staffing a morgue van in teams of two, alternating between the roles of driver and assistant. The role requires close cooperation with staff at the Police Authority, the National Board of Forensic Medicine (Rättsmedicinalverket), municipal residences, and other external facilities.
As an assistant, duties include receiving phone orders and preparing driving orders.
The team is also responsible for vehicle maintenance, the shared premises, and handling work and consumable materials during shifts. The role offers a degree of freedom under responsibility.
Qualifications: Category C license is a plus.
Requirements:
- CV
- Upper secondary education (2 years) or equivalent
- Category B driver's license
- Good driving experience
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Stable psyche and good physical fitness, as the job may involve heavy lifting
Merits:
- Experience driving light trucks or similar
- Good local knowledge of Stockholm County
- Experience in transport, passenger transport, or the morgue van industry
- Experience in healthcare or service roles

Employment Terms:
We apply individual salary setting in accordance with Kommunal's guidelines. Depending on the extent of employment, a fixed monthly salary or hourly wage applies. A certificate of good conduct (police record) is required prior to employment in accordance with the Police Authority's requirements.
Working Hours:
We are currently seeking full-time staff who can work 5 days/week, Monday to Friday. Working hours may vary between weeks, including both days and nights.
Other:
Our work group is smoke-free. The work is performed in uniform, and the company provides uniform clothing.
