Do you want to work close to the business in an international group where you have significant responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact? Here you will have a central role in an organization on an exciting development journey – with a clear focus on business-oriented controlling, digitalization, and future ways of working.
About the role
As a Business Controller at Sonepar Sweden, you will have an independent and business-oriented role where you work both operationally and analytically. You will become an important part of a small, highly competent team and have the opportunity to work closely with the operations – not just with numbers, but by creating understanding and driving development.
The role involves a natural variation where the beginning of the month is characterized by reporting and follow-up. Thereafter, you work more analytically with business support, budget and forecasting processes, as well as improvement initiatives within areas such as sales or logistics. You collaborate closely with managers and key stakeholders and regularly present your insights to the management group and regional managers.
Here you will have a role where you are expected to contribute actively – by analyzing, challenging, and influencing business decisions.

- Actively participate in projects to improve profitability, streamline processes, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Drive the company's budget and forecasting processes in collaboration with colleagues.
- Evaluate operations together with the team and propose/implement preventive and corrective actions.

- Be an important support to managers and key stakeholders in the organization.

- At least three years of relevant work experience as a Controller.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as you will regularly communicate within our global group.
- High proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial and BI systems.
- Strong analytical skills to handle large amounts of data.
- Good business acumen.
- Clean background check.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience in a similar role in a transaction-intensive industry (e.g., logistics, retail, or industry).
- Experience with SAP (finance).
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
- Strong drive, curiosity, and the courage to take a place in a business-oriented role.
