Job Description

As a Montessori educator with us, you work to create a safe, developmental, and educational environment for every child. You are an important part of the work team and actively contribute to the pedagogical activities based on the approach and materials of Montessori pedagogy.

You work closely with your colleagues in daily operations and participate in planning, implementing, and following up on activities based on governing documents and the children's needs and interests.

At Bladins Preschool, you are given the opportunity to develop both individually and together with the organization through scheduled pedagogical planning time every week. Here, you have time for reflection and learning together with colleagues.

Other duties:

• Daily documentation in our digital platform TYRA
• Daily dialogue with guardians
• Work from the perspective and materials of Montessori pedagogy to support each child's development and learning

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher (barnskötare) and have experience and training in Montessori pedagogy.

You have:

• A strong commitment to children's development and learning
• A positive attitude where the child is always in focus, and you meet both children and adults with care, kindness, and respect
• A solution-focused approach to work
• Good IT skills to use digital tools and document
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and preferably English, both orally and in writing
• A desire to develop in your professional role

About Us

Bladins Preschool has been in operation since 2014 and has approximately 120 enrolled children, divided into different groups. The preschool is located next to the beautiful Pildammsparken with a fantastic view of the park area. We have a lovely outdoor environment, but we also frequently visit nearby green areas to give the children varied outdoor experiences.

As part of the Bladins Foundation, the preschool is a non-profit organization where all revenue is reinvested into the children and the activities. The preschool consists of two units: Bladins Preschool and Bladins Montessori Preschool, where Montessori pedagogy permeates the work. We work with respect, commitment, and creativity to create the best possible preschool for every child.

Employment type: Fixed-term contract (parental leave cover)
