Description of Duties

As a Family Therapist, you work with qualified change work aimed at children, young people, adults, and families in vulnerable situations. You will vary your approach between pure conversation methods, manual-based methods, and/or more practical and concrete work, so-called hands-on work. You also need to be comfortable leading group activities aimed at different target groups together with colleagues.

Your assignments will be focused on the individual, family, and/or a system or network, and you need to be skilled at collaborating with other actors around the individual/family. Collaboration with social secretaries and coordination with various internal and external operations are important building blocks in the work. Flexibility in your daily work is a prerequisite for working with family therapy in Åstorp Municipality, so you may sometimes need to be on-site early in the morning and/or later in the evening.

You have the ability to coordinate and drive various processes from a holistic perspective. The support offered depends on the needs. We work actively based on the individual's different needs and offer flexible and individually adapted support based on proven experience and evidence. We work with a salutogenic approach where the operations are characterized by a systemic perspective.

The unit, Outpatient Care, is part of Individual and Family Care and consists of 10 employees who, in addition to the above, work with family therapy. You work in close collaboration with your colleagues as well as the other three units of Individual and Family Care: BoU Assessment and Reception, BoU Foster Care and Follow-up, and Individual and Support. You are part of a group with great commitment, lack of hierarchy, and willingness to collaborate. You get a manager who works with trust-based steering and leadership and who gives you the conditions to take your own responsibility.

Qualifications

You who apply are a social worker, behavioral scientist, social pedagogue, or have another adequate education assessed as equivalent by the employer.

Further education in the field is desirable, preferably systemic theoretical education or other manual-based methods aimed at conducting change work.

Advantageous if you have FFT, ABFT, KiBB, MI, basic psychotherapy, children's group training, or VINR.

Driver's license for a car with manual transmission is required.
