Malmö Latin School is now seeking a social pedagogue with a strong commitment to students' learning, well-being, and social development for the school's enhanced program in Aesthetics and Media. This is a fixed-term position for the autumn semester of 2026 (2026-08-10 to 2026-12-31).

Job Description

As a social pedagogue, you will work to support and motivate students at both group and individual levels. In collaboration with teachers and other staff members, you will design and develop the school's learning environment to create a safe and stimulating atmosphere that contributes to students' learning and development. You will work according to the school's core values and actively participate in the school's development work. Furthermore, you will contribute to a holistic perspective where society, groups, and individuals collaborate.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A post-secondary education relevant to the position, comprising at least two years of full-time study (120 ECTS credits or a two-year vocational education)
• Previous experience in similar work
• Good understanding of the school's goals and quality work
• Good digital competence
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Knowledge of and experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

As a social pedagogue, you handle complex issues and find solutions that promote safety, participation, and well-being for students. You have a good understanding of people's different prerequisites and adapt your approach to the individual's needs. Furthermore, you are flexible, see possibilities in changes, and use new information to develop support measures. Through a relationship-building and inclusive working method, you build trust and collaborate with students, colleagues, and other professions. You value differences and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others.
