For the 2026/2027 school year, Europaskolan Rogge is expanding within several subject areas and grade levels. We are looking for skilled and committed teachers, placing great emphasis on finding the right person for our operations rather than just filling a narrow job description.

Europaskolan Rogge is a non-profit primary school in Strängnäs with approximately 500 students in grades 4–9. All surplus is reinvested into the operations. The school has a clear knowledge profile and is characterized by structure, study environment, and high expectations – both for students and for us who work here.

About the position(s)

We are currently looking for teachers and are open to various subject combinations. The scope and content of the positions can be adapted based on your qualifications, competence, and experience.

Current directions may include, for example:

• Mathematics/Science (Grades 7–9): Preferably with an interest in advanced studies and specialized education. You may work with students admitted to specialized programs, where teaching is characterized by a high study pace, subject deepening, and didactic development.
• Teacher (Grades 4–6): Where mentoring is a central part of the role, implying clear responsibility for students' knowledge development, attendance, and collaboration with guardians and student welfare. The role is structured and supported by school leadership and student welfare.
• Music, Physical Education, Art, and/or Craft: (Grades 4–6 and/or 7–9).
• Special Education/Specialist Teacher: If you have education in this field, you are of particular interest to us.

Further subject combinations are possible, and we would welcome it if you teach more than one subject.

Your role

As a teacher at Europaskolan Rogge, you are responsible for:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching with high quality and clear structure.
• Creating and maintaining a good study environment and a safe learning and working atmosphere.
• Contributing to good relationships and professional collaboration with colleagues.
• Working systematically to ensure all students reach as far as possible in their knowledge development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have teacher education (teacher certification is highly meritorious).
• Are confident, structured, and clear in your pedagogical leadership.
• Have good subject competence and didactic skill.
• Have the ability to build relationships and trust with students.
• Enjoy collaboration and take shared responsibility for the school's mission.

It is meritorious if you:

• Teach multiple subjects.
• Have experience with mentoring.
• Have worked with high-performing students.
• Have experience with or interest in specialized education, especially with a Science focus.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
