In the role of Cybersecurity Engineer, you will hold a central position in the development of advanced security solutions for high-tech products in the underwater sector. You will work in a complex and technically challenging environment where security is the focus throughout the entire development chain. The role involves close collaboration with systems engineers, development teams, and project management, giving you the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and working methods. The organization is characterized by innovation, collaboration, and a strong focus on contributing to a safer society through advanced technology.
Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that products meet high requirements within information and IT security. You work with developing and managing security platforms used in various products and drive security work throughout the entire development process – from requirements analysis and architecture to design, implementation, and verification. In this role, you also serve as a key knowledge resource within the organization, supporting colleagues with methods, working practices, and technical solutions. The work involves collaboration across multiple projects, providing you with a broad network both internally and externally, including collaborations with customers, partners, and international actors.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineer degree or equivalent technical education
- Several years of experience working in IT security
- Experience from working in operational environments
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity
- Understanding of the entire development chain, from requirements and analysis to implementation, verification, and commissioning
- Experience in product development
- Good communication skills and experience working in teams
- Ability to work independently and drive work forward
- Ability to work in complex system environments and see the big picture
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with security standards
- Experience with threat modeling
- Experience with secure system design
- Experience working in regulated environments
Conditions
- Scope: Full-time (100%)
- Location: On-site initially, with the possibility of 1–2 days of remote work per week in the future
- Start: As agreed
