As an IT Systems Specialist at Trafikverket, you will help facilitate daily life for residents and businesses across Sweden by contributing to the infrastructure of the future.

Responsibilities

Imagine working with both existing technology and driving development towards new solutions within a team focused on meeting and messaging services, where we value collaboration, development, and innovation. As part of our team, you will support daily operations with your expert knowledge. You will also be the one driving the development of our critical digital meeting and collaboration solutions, with a focus on efficiency and security.

We currently use Skype for Business, but you will work together with our own architects, system technicians, and specialists in other technology areas related to our delivery to implement new modern solutions to strengthen our operations and improve the user experience. An example could be open-source products based on container technology.

Remote collaboration is important as we work geographically dispersed.

Qualifications

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and able to work independently. Since the role involves many contact points, you need good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. Naturally, your problem-solving and analytical skills are part of succeeding in the role. As this is a specialist role, we also expect you to have an interest in technology.

We are looking for someone who has:

• In-depth knowledge and current practical experience as a systems specialist in meeting solutions (on-prem).
• Knowledge and understanding of network technology related to meeting services and streaming media.
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge and practical experience of Linux and container technology.
• Knowledge of meeting and collaboration solutions with connections to telephony/switching systems.
• Experience working with cloud-based meeting solutions.
• Experience working with meeting solutions in a larger organization.
• Experience with practical work regarding security legislation, e.g., NIS/NIS2.
