As an Enterprise and Application Architect at Attendo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of care in one of Sweden's most critical operations. You will help create the long-term vision, contribute to clear structures, strategic roadmaps, and architectures that deliver real value to both the organization and society.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Enterprise and Application Architect, you will:

• Develop target architectures, decision support materials, and recommendations for the development and rationalization of the IT landscape, including strategic choices and migration from current state to target state
• Ensure a holistic perspective across business, data, applications, and technology
• Analyze, map, and document application landscapes and system interdependencies from business and process perspectives
• Create and develop application maps that clarify ownership, lifecycle, criticality, and system connections
• Analyze and describe integrations and data flows between applications, including risks, dependencies, and consequences
• Provide architectural support to system owners and business representatives regarding prioritization, impact assessments, and strategic choices
• Drive and facilitate architecture-related discussions in relevant forums and dialogues
• Collaborate closely with IT leadership, other architects, and internal and external suppliers in an environment with outsourced IT

Your team and workplace

You will work closely with business units, IT leadership, and other architect roles in a mission where architecture is used as a tool for governance, coordination, and enabling Attendo's digitalization strategy. The IT landscape is characterized by multiple parallel cloud systems, integrations, and suppliers. The position is based in the Stockholm area, with the possibility of hybrid work.

About you

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Several years of experience in IT architecture roles, such as enterprise, application, or business architecture
• The ability to understand, analyze, and describe complex system interdependencies at a high level
• Experience working with application landscapes, integrations, and architectural dependencies
• A solid understanding of how data and information flows connect within an IT landscape
• Experience working strategically, creating structure, and driving architecture initiatives forward without formal line management responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and extensive experience collaborating with various stakeholders across business, IT, and suppliers

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience with integration architecture (e.g., APIs, event-driven flows, batch/integration services)
• Experience with master data management
• Knowledge of or experience with frameworks such as TOGAF
• Experience working with architecture in cloud-based environments, such as Azure
• Experience with supplier management in an outsourced IT environment with multiple suppliers
