About the job

We are now recruiting a System Developer with a DevOps focus for the platform team.

The team works to establish the technical platform required to enable the efficient delivery of Digg's digital services.

As a system developer, you will, among other things:

• develop applications and configure environments for deployment in Kubernetes/OpenShift
• work with GitOps, Docker/Podman, and version control in Git
• contribute to developing features for logging, monitoring, and automation
• collaborate with other teams to create sustainable and efficient platform solutions.

Our target technical environment consists of several Kubernetes clusters from Red Hat (OpenShift 4), where we currently operate our own services, development environments, and CI/CD pipelines. We develop microservices in Java and Quarkus and use Vue for frontend development with TypeScript. Experience with large data centers and Linux server operations is a plus, as we have our own data center. In our platform team, you will, together with your colleagues, configure application deployments and other functions such as logging and monitoring of deployed applications.

About you

Experience and knowledge – requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Linux as a development and operations environment.
• At least 3 years of experience with version control in Git or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with Docker or Podman.
• At least 2 years of experience configuring applications for deployment in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• At least 2 years of experience working in agile teams.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience – merit

• Experience with Linux administration.
• Experience with Kustomize/Helm.
• Experience with Istio/Service Mesh.
• Experience with GitLab administration.
• Experience with Nexus administration.
• Experience with Terraform.

Digg and PTS are forming a joint authority

The government has decided that Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) will merge into a single joint authority from January 1, 2027.

The purpose is to strengthen Sweden's digitalization by bringing our competencies in areas such as digital infrastructure, data, and AI together in one organization. The joint authority will have a broader mandate and better conditions to contribute to a more cohesive digital society.
