About the workplace
Ersta diakoni is Sweden's largest non-profit actor in healthcare and social services. We provide healthcare, social work, research, and education professionally and without a profit motive.
A role where you make a concrete difference in people's daily lives in a context where IT is a natural part of the operations
A business-close IT environment with short decision-making paths
Opportunity to influence and develop both systems and working methods
A team that cares – about both the job and each other.
As an employee with us, we also offer a range of benefits that we hope will give you the conditions to enjoy your job and have a rewarding free time.
About the role
As a System Administrator, you will work closely with both users and IT colleagues to ensure that our systems function – not just technically, but in everyday practice.
You will also work with other internal systems and platforms, for example:
Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
SITHS and identity management
Other systems related to core IT
The assignment includes:
Administer and further develop TOPdesk as a platform and working method
Drive improvements in flows, structure, and usage related to case management
Administer and develop our internal systems and services
Ensure that solutions such as SITHS and identity management work in practice
Work closely with the business to capture needs and areas for improvement
Collaborate with suppliers and follow up on deliveries
Contribute to stable operations and functional user support
Lead or participate in improvement and change management work.
A central part of the role is to own and further develop TOPdesk as our primary platform for case management and IT support. Here, you are expected not just to administer but to actively improve, simplify, and drive development.
Who are you?
You like to get things to work for real. You enjoy collaborating with others, are responsive to the business's needs, and take responsibility for the whole, not just the technology. To succeed in the role, we see that you:
Take ownership – you don't wait for assignments but drive things forward
Have an improvement focus – you see what isn't working and do something about it
Are structured – you create order in complex environments
Are pedagogical – you can translate technology into business value
Are persistent – you follow up and ensure that change actually happens
Have the courage to challenge working methods when necessary.
You share Ersta's value system of seeing the whole person and our values: professionalism, trust, and hope.
