The position is located at the Data and Analysis Section. Here, we work with informatics, health data, follow-up, and analysis to support the development towards a data-driven and knowledge-based healthcare and social care system. A significant part of the activities is carried out on behalf of the regions' systems for knowledge management within healthcare. Within the framework of this mandate, development work is underway to establish a national competence center for regional joint health data management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a case handler with a focus on informatics who wants to contribute to the development of healthcare information management. The role means that you will become a key person in coordinating, leading, and supporting processes that strengthen the work of regions and municipalities to link knowledge management with standardization and digitalization within healthcare and social care.
The role involves:
- Coordinating and leading a team of informaticians.
- Acting as process support in one or more groups within the National System for Knowledge Management. This includes contributing and supporting with expertise in informatics, as well as working with case handling, preparation, and decision-making processes.
- Contributing competence in the daily work with the section's activity portfolio.
- Identifying competence needs for projects and specifying what type of competence needs to be procured.
- Providing advice and support to the regions in work involving structured health information within the National System for Knowledge Management.
- Interest representation and environmental analysis within the health data area.
- Collaborating with authorities, suppliers, and industry organizations.
- Participating as an expert in relevant forums.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a case handler with a focus on informatics, we expect you to have:
- Relevant higher education (e.g., social sciences, technical, or medical).
- Documented knowledge of, or several years of experience in, working with informatics and enabling technical and semantic interoperability.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Knowledge of healthcare processes, preferably from work in a region.
- Experience in coordination and project management.
- Experience working with informatics, e.g., concept and information modeling and terminology work.
- Ability to write various types of documents (reports, memoranda, opinions, etc.).
- Knowledge of ongoing and upcoming developments in the health data area.
- Knowledge of the application of common standards and formats for interoperability, e.g., for documentation, storage, transfer, and follow-up of information (HL7, OpenEHR, Snomed CT, ICD, etc.).
- Understanding of technical solutions for health data management, e.g., health information systems.
- Knowledge and experience of knowledge management.
We are looking for someone who is development-oriented and has a pedagogical approach. You are structured, communicative, and used to collaborating with various actors. You are also analytical with the ability to see the big picture while handling details.
