About the Job

The Swedish Tax Agency is now entering a new phase of expansion and innovation as we will deliver IT services and IT operations to more government agencies. We are therefore scaling up and strengthening our teams with new employees who want to work on delivering these services to Swedish authorities.

The culture at the Swedish Tax Agency is characterized by an agile working method with a high ceiling and an open dialogue for change and development. You will be part of the Swedish Tax Agency's Technical Service Unit (STT) with approximately 500 employees. We are responsible for development, maintenance, and operations, delivering services within infrastructure, platforms, and IT workplaces to several agencies. You belong to the Section for Digital Collaboration, which currently consists of 19 colleagues.

You will be part of a team delivering the collaboration platform; SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Outlook, etc. We have recently rolled out M365 and the hybrid environment, which will evolve into a hybrid, multi-tenant environment as we begin delivering to more agencies.

As a developer in the Collaboration Platform development team, you are responsible for designing, developing, automating, and further developing the organization's Microsoft-based collaboration platform. The team works in both on-premises and cloud environments and primarily handles components such as SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Hybrid, as well as other M365 services. The role combines system development, automation, and integration work, with a focus on stable, scalable, and modern solutions that create real value for the operations.

The work includes designing, developing, and managing solutions and integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem, building and further developing automated processes and workflows, as well as developing AI-driven agents and smart automations. You ensure quality through test automation and standardized development methods and work with modern version control and CI/CD processes via Azure DevOps and GitHub.

You should also have:

Relevant higher education or vocational training in system development, or current and relevant work experience deemed relevant by the employer
Good experience of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft's collaboration platform
Current and relevant work experience in development with C# and .NET
Current and relevant work experience with Azure DevOps, including version control and workflows
Current and relevant work experience with Microsoft Graph API and Azure Functions
Current and relevant work experience in creating and implementing RPA solutions
Current and relevant work experience in administering and configuring M365 environments

Furthermore, it is desirable if you have:

Current and relevant work experience in AI-based system development utilizing LLMs
Current and relevant work experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Current and relevant work experience working within a government agency

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with registry control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be carried out before a decision on employment is made. For some of our tasks in a security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
