You will join an established development team further developing a Clinical Data Repository and a healthcare data platform in a complex healthcare environment. The focus is on backend components and integrations that make data more accessible, structured, and usable with high quality.

Here, you work close to business-critical flows where robust technology supports data-driven working methods and better healthcare. You will help build solutions that need to function long-term, scale well, and maintain high technical quality. This makes the assignment particularly interesting for you who enjoy modern Java development in an environment where technology has a clear impact.

• You develop and further develop Java-based components and services in the healthcare data platform.
• You build and maintain integrations with other systems and platforms.
• You participate in the design, implementation, and testing of new features.
• You drive work on code quality through test-driven development, code reviews, and automation.
• You collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and architects to create scalable and sustainable solutions.
• You contribute to backend solutions that support high data quality and stable information management.

• Academic degree in computer science, systems development, or equivalent documented experience
• At least 5 years of experience in systems development with a focus on Java and JVM-based frameworks, such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Quarkus
• At least 3 years of experience in development against SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• At least 3 years of experience in developing backend services and REST APIs
• At least 3 years of experience working with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, as well as CI/CD solutions, such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
• At least 2 years of experience working with event-driven architectures and integration patterns, including Kafka or equivalent message queue/streaming solutions

• Experience in developing integrations or services handling large data volumes against DataLake technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, Delta Lake, or equivalent, in a healthcare or research-related environment
• Experience in contributing to improved development processes and method support, such as test-driven development, automation, or code reviews, in complex team environments
