About the position

You will be part of a cross-functional agile team together with developers, designers, and product owners who continuously deliver value. The team works with platform development and is responsible for our design system. We aim to unite design and technology by implementing smart solutions in code, prototyping tools, and documentation. The goal is to create consistency and clarity in everything we build at the authority.

You will work closely with your colleagues and also have several points of contact with the rest of the organization. The design system is under construction, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the work going forward. The platform services we build create value for the rest of the organization and ultimately for the citizens of Sweden.

About you

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good architecture and quality and can see the entire lifecycle of the product. You thrive when you can collaborate and communicate at work, both within the team and with colleagues in other parts of the organization. It is natural for you to take responsibility and drive your own work forward. We also see that you have good analytical skills and enjoy solving problems while maintaining a holistic view that influences your entire work.

We are looking for someone who has:

• at least five years of relevant work experience in web development
• several years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks such as Vue
• experience implementing accessible web solutions according to WCAG
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous for the position if you have:

• experience working with platform development and web architecture
• experience in web security, test automation, and performance optimization
• experience with monorepos and tools like Lerna
• experience with projects involving continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• experience publishing and contributing to open source.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The place of employment is Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business trips, primarily between Kalmar and Stockholm.
