Your role as a unit manager for consultants

As a unit manager for consultants at Combitech, you will have a role that combines both depth and breadth. You will combine assignments with clients with clear leadership responsibilities. The majority of your time will be spent working on qualified assignments within the software area, for example as a project manager, developer, or in another specialist role based on your expertise. You will help create solutions that make a real difference for our clients.

At the same time, you will have personnel responsibility for about ten consultants. You will coach and support them in their assignments, conduct performance reviews, work on skills development and salary setting, and ensure that each individual has the right conditions to grow. The unit manager for consultants is one of our most important cultural carriers and plays a crucial role in creating engagement, security, and direction within the group.

Together with other unit managers and your immediate manager, you will drive the business forward. You will also contribute to business development by working for high delivery precision and ensuring the right consultant is assigned to the right task.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant educational background and experience in the software area. You have likely worked as a project manager, developer, or in a similar role and feel that you now want to take the next step by combining technology with leadership.

To succeed in this role, you have a genuine interest in people and their motivations. You are attentive, relationship-building, and engaged. You build trust, create participation, and have a strong desire to develop both individuals and teams. As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
