You will be part of a high-tech operation within the defense industry, where you will work on the development of advanced embedded solutions for aviation-related systems. The assignment focuses on presentation and registration systems, with an emphasis on further development, management, and refactoring in a complex environment where hardware and software closely interact.

You will work in a software team that develops and tests software components in a subsystem that generates cockpit HMI. The environment includes specially designed hardware and software, as well as technical solutions for graphics, video, and system-level functions. Here, you will work closely with both target platforms, simulators, and lab environments alongside experienced colleagues in teams characterized by quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.

• Design and implement embedded software.
• Further develop, manage, and refactor presentation and registration systems.
• Integrate and function test software on the target platform in labs, simulators, and rigs.
• Further develop and adapt testing frameworks and work on automation.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to high code quality.
• Work with requirements analysis and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Port, verify, and document software functions when changing software platforms, such as RTOS and drivers.
• Contribute to development in mixed programming languages and operating systems, both on host and target.

• Extensive experience working in one or more of the following areas: development, testing, and optimization of embedded software systems.
• Experience working in mixed computing environments such as Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)

• Experience with Pascal and/or ADA.
• Knowledge of Embedded Linux.
• Understanding of how an RTOS works.
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or Bash.
• Knowledge in DevOps.
• Experience with Atlassian's tool suite, such as Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of OpenGL, OpenGL ES, image processing, or video streaming.
• Experience with safety-critical standards in areas such as aviation, automotive, or medical.

• Pension plan (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB and 30% on salary above that)
