Your role as a hardware-related developer in C/C++

In the role of hardware-related programmer, you will develop real-time systems in C/C++ with responsibility for the entire chain of embedded development - from analyzing hardware architecture and communication protocols to designing, optimizing, and implementing robust solutions used in everything from advanced electronic systems to critical societal technology.

You will have the opportunity to build deep domain knowledge in defense technology, which means you will become an expert in the specific requirements and regulations that govern our products and deliveries.

The work takes place in small, interdisciplinary teams where you together create solutions that integrate with hardware components. Code reviews, demos, and internal workshops are natural parts of the development process and enhance both knowledge sharing and quality assurance with us. The teams combine precision, creativity, and a genuine interest in the overall technology - all to develop products that contribute to a safer, more resilient, and sustainable society.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in hardware-related programming in C/C++ and who is comfortable reading and interpreting data sheets, circuit diagrams, and hardware specifications. You have a technical interest, are curious to learn new things, and appreciate working closely with hardware. Experience with different hardware architectures is a plus.

As a person, you work analytically and structured and enjoy understanding how things are interconnected in depth. You are curious, eager to acquire new knowledge, and appreciate the opportunity to develop in both software and hardware. The role involves close collaboration with other technicians and developers, so it is important that you are communicative and thrive in an environment where people learn from each other. You enjoy solving problems and have the patience to troubleshoot when systems behave unexpectedly, while also having the ability to see the big picture and how different parts of the system affect each other.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
