We are looking for an IT security technician for an assignment where you will work operationally with operational management in complex network and firewall environments. The role involves supporting the business in daily work with installation, configuration, and operations, focusing on stability, security, and structure.

You will work in an environment where several management and automation tools are used, along with established products in networking and IT security. The assignment is suitable for you who have a practical and hands-on background in network technology and are used to working closely with operations and technical management.

You will work with:

• assisting in the operational management of firewall environments

• performing installations in network and firewall environments

• configuring and maintaining solutions within networking and IT security

• working in management and automation tools for networks

• contributing to a stable, secure, and well-functioning operational environment

• managing technology from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper

• ensuring stable operations in network and firewall environments

• performing installation and configuration according to the needs of the assignment

• contributing operational technical expertise in networking and IT security

• using automation tools for efficient handling of network-related tasks

• documenting and communicating completed work clearly in Swedish

• at least 3 years of documented experience as a network technician

• documented experience in configuring and operating firewalls from at least one of the following vendors: Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper

• experience working with automation tools for networks, such as Ansible

• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

• relevant experience in networking and IT security at a level corresponding to a mid-level profile

• experience working in larger operational or security-critical IT environments

• familiarity with working in environments with high demands on structure, documentation, and security awareness

• experience with several of the requested vendors rather than just one

To succeed in this role, we see that you are meticulous, responsible, and comfortable in technical operational environments. You work in a structured manner, have a high security awareness, and can independently drive defined tasks forward. You communicate clearly in Swedish and collaborate well with others in technical teams.

The assignment is subject to high demands for security and confidentiality awareness. Security clearance with background checks and signing of security protection agreements according to the Security Protection Act may be required before the assignment can begin. In some cases, Swedish citizenship may be required.
