We are looking for an engaged SOC Manager

who wants to lead and develop our Security Operations Center at a time when the threat landscape against critical societal operations is increasing.

About the role

As SOC Manager, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and ensuring the quality of our SOC function. You work to identify, analyze, and manage security incidents, as well as develop processes and routines to meet new threats.

The role does not include formal personnel responsibility, but you have a clear responsibility to coordinate, guide, and support the resources working operationally with these issues. You will be a business leader and contribute to planning, prioritizing, and following up on work that strengthens our detection and incident management capabilities. Training and supporting the organization in security issues is also part of our work to protect national critical infrastructure.

You will be part of the Information and Cybersecurity group, with employees located in both Karlstad and Stockholm, working based on a clear, agile model with structure and speed. We are tomorrow's security department – always ready to challenge traditional working methods and implement innovative solutions, both in our systems and in how we collaborate cross-functionally. The team consists of engaged specialists and coaches who together build a resilient and modern cyber defense.

Who are you?

You are analytical and problem-solving, with several years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security – preferably within classified operations. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, and have the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions even under pressure. Integrity and professionalism are natural parts of your working style.

You enjoy collaborating with others and building strong relationships, both internally and externally. With your inclusive approach, you contribute to a good working climate and are happy to share your knowledge. At the same time, you are innovative and actively contribute ideas that develop security work.
