Do you want to work on a socially important assignment where quality, robustness, and security are at the center? We are currently looking for a Technical Tester / Test Automation Engineer with a development background for a long-term assignment with Svenska kraftnät in Sundbyberg.

This is not a traditional testing role. The assignment suits you who have experience in system development and who have subsequently or concurrently worked with testing, quality assurance, test design, and integration testing in complex IT environments.

At Svenska kraftnät, you will become part of an agile team in one of their larger programs, working with testing and quality assurance related to the development, maintenance, and management of system solutions.

About the role

In this role, you will:

• actively participate in testing work within agile teams and projects

• develop test strategies and contribute to test planning

• perform functional tests, integration tests, system tests, and acceptance tests

• review requirements from a testing and quality perspective and contribute to increased testability

• design and document test cases, test data, and test scenarios

• report, follow up, and verify deviations through triage, retesting, and regression testing

• contribute to test automation and work together with development teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

• document test results and prepare documentation for delivery decisions

• contribute testing and quality perspectives in design and implementation discussions

We are looking for you who have

• a university or college degree in IT, or equivalent work experience

• at least 5 years of experience in system development

• at least 5 years of experience in system testing and acceptance testing

• at least 5 years of experience in test design, including test cases, test data, and structured test scenarios

• experience working according to test strategies and test plans for complex systems or integration solutions

• at least 3 years of experience in integration testing or testing of complex information systems and environment architectures

• at least 3 years of experience in testing within agile teams, such as Scrum or Kanban

Merits

• deviation management, test follow-up, and traceability in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools

• test automation and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
