Every day is full of activity among all students in our preschool classes, leisure centers, all grades 1-9 in primary school, and adapted primary school at Kristineberg School. We educate curious and eager-to-learn students and stimulate them to constantly learn new things! We work goal-oriented and with great respect for each other's similarities and differences. At our school, there are students from many different countries and with many different needs for support and guidance throughout their school years. RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission with us is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet. Your main task will be to work as a student coach. The focus will be on students' attendance, well-being, goal achievement, study techniques, and social relationships. It is important that you create good relationships, socialize, observe, and be a safe support for the students.

Main responsibilities:

• Coach and teach students in small and large groups
• Study support: find flexible and individual solutions
• Motivating, coaching, and guiding conversations
• Monitoring absence and promoting attendance
• Support for teachers and other staff regarding motivation and preventive work
• Creating a sense of security
• Being present as support in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching for students

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to have good collaboration skills, be able to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. While you have good collaboration skills, you also need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for the tasks of the assignment. You need to be able to establish contacts and maintain relationships, which implies a relationship-building approach.

As we are a developing organization where we constantly face changes and students with different needs and conditions, you need a high degree of flexibility and be structured. In our mission, we will support students to achieve primary school goals, which requires you to work towards the organization's goals for good goal achievement. A good coaching approach permeated by a positive view of students, where every student is met based on their conditions, is a must, as you are the one who will lead and motivate the student towards lifelong learning.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability, such as being action-oriented, relationship-building, and your approach in meeting the student, as well as results from and your previous experience of working as a student coach. You need knowledge of and experience with ADHD/ASD (NPF).

You must be an experienced IT user as Google Classroom is used as the pedagogical learning platform.
