Vena, Målilla, Mörlunda, and Silverdalen - small units with great opportunities! Ytterskolan in Hultsfred Municipality is a collective term for the smaller schools in the municipality. We have Vena School, Silverdalens School, Målilla School, and Emådalskolan in Mörlunda. Schools that all have close proximity to nature. The schools are led by three principals in close collaboration with each other. We are currently seeking teachers for after-school care at all schools, and we are looking for someone who wants a fun and developing job as an after-school teacher.

As an after-school teacher, you will have great freedom in your assignment where you can take advantage of the students' interests and wishes. We work to see the student's entire school day where after-school care is an important complement. Our goal is for our students to grow up to be independent and secure individuals who know who they are and what they stand for, who take responsibility for themselves, for each other, and for the society we live in. We work in mixed-age groups with different themes and activities and collaborate closely with other teams at the school.

As an after-school teacher, you will be part of a team where you have close collaboration regarding students and teaching. You actively work with pedagogical planning and constantly strive to improve your interaction with students through evaluation, reflection, and collegial learning. To ensure that students feel meaningfulness in their everyday lives and feel that they are constantly learning for life, you will help develop an interdisciplinary approach that creates a wholeness for the students.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in after-school care/after-school pedagogue and who wants to be involved in developing the after-school care at our schools. In your leadership, you start from creating good relationships with both students and colleagues.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We would like you to be someone who enjoys driving school development and working with student influence related to the curriculum. Independence, flexibility, and a forward-thinking attitude are qualifications we see in you! You will meet children of different ages and varying needs. In your leadership, you start from creating good relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.

As an educator, you are goal-oriented and engaged. You see more opportunities than difficulties. A prerequisite for working with us is that you see yourself as a team player.
