Montessori School Rainbow

Do you want to work at a small school with great potential? Welcome to Montessori School Rainbow. We are a school with about 115 students from preschool to grade 6. We also have an after-school program and preschool for children aged 1-5 years. In total, we have about 200 children and students and around 35 staff members. 

About the position
Main responsibilities 
- Planning and conducting lessons with students individually or in groups

- Mapping and screenings

- Being part of the student health team, where you contribute with your specific expertise

- Planning, implementing, and following up on special educational efforts in close dialogue with students and classroom teachers

- Documentation in the form of educational investigations, action programs, etc., and adapting teaching according to individual needs

- Participation in work teams and various school activities

Your qualifications and background
We are looking for someone with a special education teacher qualification or who is in training to become a special education teacher. You should have very good subject knowledge in mathematics and Swedish. You have experience working with children and their development, are well-versed in language disorders and NPF issues, and understand how these can affect everyday life and the school environment. 

Qualifications
- Certified teachers

- Certified special education teacher or in training
- Good communication skills in your pedagogical work
- A curious approach to students' learning and being a positive leader in the classroom
- A good ability to collaborate with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management

Meritorious
- You have several years of experience as a special education teacher
- You are qualified to perform LOGOS
- You have very good communication skills, both orally and in writing
- You also have certification in Swedish as a second language

About the employment
The position is permanent at 60% starting 10/8 2026.
