We are now looking for a special educator for Ludvigborg School.

As a special educator/special teacher, you will work both operationally and consultatively, providing guidance to both staff and management. You should be able to analyze learning environments and stimulate the development of working methods and approaches within the framework of an inclusive perspective. Your assignment includes both investigative and developmental work with a focus on preventive and health-promoting measures. Through your role, you contribute to ensuring that our students in need of special support receive individualized and inclusive responses and interventions that lead to increased goal achievement.

You will also carry out targeted, individual interventions for students who need them. In the investigative work, you will, within your area of expertise, conduct in-depth pedagogical assessments, support the implementation of interventions based on completed investigations, and assist in follow-up and evaluation work based on completed investigations. You will have contact with guardians for close collaboration between school and home and actively work with students with problematic school absenteeism.

You will be part of the school's student health team along with the counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, social educator, special teacher, career counselor, principal, and vice principal, as well as the school's management team.

We are looking for someone who is a trained special educator/special teacher. Previous work experience as a special educator/special teacher at the secondary school level is an advantage. If you have experience in pedagogical work with children with special needs, this is also considered an advantage.

As a person, you are development-oriented, positive, and have good communication skills as well as the ability to see the whole picture. We place great value on your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring ability. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can create trust with the students. You meet children and parents in a respectful manner and collaborate with other adults in the school for a meaningful and stimulating environment. You are creative and develop good learning environments for the students. You inspire and engage the students while setting high expectations for them and believing that they can meet your expectations.
