Teacher in Swedish and English at Örnsköldsvik Upper Secondary School
Örnsköldsvik Upper Secondary School has two school buildings, Parkskolan and Nolaskolan. In total, over 1,800 students study with us, distributed across five academic preparatory programs and ten vocational programs, as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary education. Örnsköldsvik Upper Secondary School is designated as a training school, which means that student teachers (VFU) are a regular part of the school.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a certified teacher at the upper secondary level or a primary school teacher qualified for grades 7-9 with subject competence in Swedish and English.

Experience working with students who require support and adaptations is highly appreciated.

Application Process and Requirements
In connection with the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), or other ID document that verifies citizenship. For some positions, a certificate from the police register of suspicion and criminal record is required.
Language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sámi varieties are appreciated, as Örnsköldsvik municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.
In our municipality, a number of positions are classified in a security class, so security clearance may be required. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
