Kramfors School is centrally located in Kramfors, with close proximity to both bus and train stations. The school is a 4–6 unit with around 300 students and also accommodates adapted primary school grades 1–9 as well as after-school care.

We are now looking for a special education teacher who wants to be part of our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special education teacher, you will work to develop accessible learning environments and teaching that meets all students' needs, in close collaboration with teachers and other staff. Your role includes conducting educational assessments and investigations together with teachers, as well as analyzing the barriers and opportunities present in students' learning environments.

You will support teachers and school management in the work with guidance and stimulation, extra adaptations, and special support, as well as contribute to the development of teaching and learning environments. You will mentor individuals and teams in special educational issues and contribute to the analysis of teaching, learning environments, and student group needs.

In this role, you will also participate in the school's systematic quality work, where you will help develop the structures, routines, and support processes of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher with experience in special education work, for example, through work with extra adaptations, special support, educational assessments, or mentoring colleagues. A special education degree is advantageous and may be required in the long run. Experience in educational investigations, student health work, and systematic quality work is also meritorious.

You have a good ability to analyze students' needs and learning environments and to contribute to the development of teaching and organization from a special educational perspective. It is also important that you work from a relational and inclusive approach, with the ability to support and mentor teachers in the work with accessible learning environments, extra adaptations, and special support.

The work requires documented good ability to organize and collaborate, a strong sense of responsibility, and good analytical skills, along with a development-oriented and solution-focused approach. It is particularly important that you have a very good ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, guardians, and external actors.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, and a comprehensive assessment of education, experience, and personal qualities will be made.
