Textile Teacher Wanted at Husumskolan

We at Husumskolan are looking for an engaged textile teacher for parts of grades 3 to 9 who wants to contribute to students' creative development and learning.

In this role, you will teach textile crafts and create an inspiring learning environment where students have the opportunity to explore their creative ideas and skills. You will work closely with the students, providing them with support and guidance while encouraging their independence in the creative process.

Responsibilities

As a textile teacher at Husumskolan, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating our students in textile crafts. Your responsibilities will include the following areas:

• Plan and conduct lessons that stimulate creativity and learning in the textile subject.
• Develop course materials and exercises tailored to students' varying needs and levels.
• Assess and evaluate students' performances and provide constructive feedback to promote their development.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages collaboration and respect.
• Participate in the school's development work and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve education.
• Be part of a mentoring team in a high school class.

Qualifications

To become part of our dedicated team at Husumskolan as a textile teacher, we are looking for you with the following qualifications:

• Relevant education in textile crafts, design, or equivalent, preferably with a teaching degree.
• Good pedagogical ability and an understanding of different learning styles, allowing you to adapt teaching to students' individual needs.
• Committed to promoting students' creativity and practical skills, as well as creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Able to inspire and motivate students in their creative processes.
• A good communicator who collaborates well with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Creative and passionate about sharing your knowledge and experience in textile crafts.

If you have experience teaching the textile subject, we consider it an advantage.
