Kramfors School is centrally located in Kramfors, close to both bus and train stations. The school is an institution for grades 4-6 with approximately 300 students. Within the unit, there is also an adapted primary school for grades 1-9 and an after-school program.

We also work from the premise that good relationships between students and adults are an important foundation for learning and development.

We are now looking for a special education teacher in mathematics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special education teacher in mathematics, you will teach and support students in need of special assistance in mathematics and contribute to accessible and inclusive learning environments. The assignment includes working in accordance with the school's governing documents, curriculum, and national goals, where teaching is designed to promote students' knowledge development, safety, and study peace.

You will work with students individually, in smaller groups, or in class and conduct subject-specific assessments of students' knowledge and needs. You will contribute to the analysis of students' knowledge development and develop teaching strategies with the team that strengthen students' learning.

You will work closely with classroom teachers, the team, and student health to create a holistic approach to students' learning, development, and well-being. The assignment also includes supporting work with guidance and stimulation, extra adaptations, and special support in mathematics, as well as building trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians to create a shared understanding and continuity in the student's development. You will also participate in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to the development of teaching and support measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics. A special education degree is advantageous and may be required in the long run. It is also advantageous if you have experience with pedagogical assessments, analysis of students' knowledge development, and digital systems for monitoring and documentation.

The work requires a good ability to organize and collaborate, a strong sense of responsibility, and good analytical skills, as well as a development-oriented and solution-focused approach. Therefore, we see that you have documented experience working with students in need of support, for example, through extra adaptations, special support, or teaching in smaller groups. You also have a good ability to support and develop teaching in mathematics and contribute to work with guidance and stimulation, extra adaptations, and special support.

In this role, it is important that you work from a low-arousal approach, with the ability to meet students in different situations in a safe, structured, and professional manner. It is particularly important that you have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, and a comprehensive assessment of education, experience, and personal qualities will be made.
