Gudmundråskolan is a school for grades 7-9 with about 340 students. We are centrally located in Kramfors with good communication links. Engagement and a belief in the future are important values for us, as well as high expectations for our students. We work with a holistic perspective where every student should feel safe, responsible, and independent, which creates a good foundation for knowledge acquisition. We are now looking for two primary school teachers for grades 7-9 in mathematics, technology, physics, chemistry, and biology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role includes, in addition to teaching the main subjects, also mentorship for a class together with a mentor colleague. You are expected to provide individual support based on each student's conditions and needs and contribute to strengthening their motivation through value-creating learning.

We care about collegial learning and allocate both time and resources for collaboration in subject teams and work teams. You will be part of a work team that systematically works with planning, implementation, and follow-up based on applicable governing documents as well as the municipality's and the organization's goals. Together, we develop strategies and working methods that make it possible to meet each student with the right guidance and stimulation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in two or more of the following subjects: mathematics, technology, physics, chemistry, and biology.
• Is flexible, engaged, and has a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their individual conditions.
• Has an interest in knowledge, digitalization, and modern methods that enhance teaching.
• Is confident in your leadership and serves as a good role model.
• Finds it easy to collaborate but can also take initiative and make independent decisions.

Experience in similar roles is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
