Gudmundrå School is a middle school for grades 7-9 with about 340 students. We are centrally located in Kramfors with good transport connections. Engagement and belief in the future are important values for us, as well as high expectations for our students. We are now looking for a middle school teacher for grades 7-9 in the subject of wood and metal craft.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in wood and metal craft, you play an important role in inspiring and developing our students. In addition to teaching the main subject, you will also provide mentorship for a class of students, together with a mentor colleague. The role also involves providing individual support based on each student's conditions and needs, as well as strengthening the student's motivation through value-creating learning and entrepreneurship.

We value collegial learning and allocate both time and resources for collaboration in subject teams and work groups. You will be part of a team where we collectively develop teaching and work systematically with planning, implementation, and follow-up based on applicable governing documents as well as the municipality's and the organization's goals. Together, we work to create good strategies and methods that make it possible to meet each student with the right guidance and stimulation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in wood and metal craft.
• Is flexible and engaged, with a genuine interest in educating and developing young people based on their individual conditions.
• Has an interest in knowledge and digital methods that can develop and strengthen your teaching.
• Is confident in your leadership and serves as a positive and stable role model for the students.
• Has good collaboration skills while also taking initiative and making independent decisions in your work.

Experience in similar roles is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
