Within the Department of Education and Childcare, our approximately 3,000 employees meet around 14,000 children and students in more than 100 preschools and schools throughout the municipality every day. Your new workplace

Kyrkmons School is located in the residential area of Njurunda, about 15 kilometers south of Sundsvall city center. Approximately 300 students attend from preschool class to grade 6. Here, children have the opportunity to grow, develop, and feel hopeful about the future. Kyrkmons School is a safe and inspiring place for learning and community. Your contribution as a music teacher

You will plan and conduct lessons for grades 1-6 in music. You are accustomed to working with leadership and stimulation at the group level in the classroom. You collaborate with your colleagues and work from a team perspective. At Kyrkmons School, we have several traditions where the music subject is in focus. The music teacher's engagement inspires students and creates joy for singing and music.

Your qualifications and experience

You need to be a certified teacher with teaching experience from the earlier years of primary school, that is, grades 1-6. It is also an advantage if you have experience teaching in smaller groups for students who struggle to be in a larger context. As a person, you are relationship-building and have an easy time establishing trusting contacts with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and able to adapt to different situations and the needs of the organization. You work in a structured manner and are meticulous in planning, executing, and continuously evaluating your teaching. In this way, you actively contribute to developing both the educational work and the organization as a whole.
