Description

We are looking for a qualified special education teacher who is driven to make a difference at Mariedalsskolan. Mariedalsskolan is a K-6 school with about 240 students in central Timrå.

Your Responsibilities

• Be a bridge between the student's needs and the classroom's demands. You will work closely with educators to implement strategies that make a difference.
• Guide colleagues in adaptations and special support to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide direct support to students, both individually and in groups.
• Plan and evaluate special educational interventions individually and together with others to help students reach their full potential and develop as far as possible.
• Develop the preventive student health work of the teams so that good relationships, suitable learning tools, methods, and tasks are used based on the students' needs.
• Be part of the Student Health Team and drive preventive and health-promoting work.
• Collaborate closely with special educators and other colleagues.
• Contribute to the school's systematic quality work.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher with a special education degree and has good knowledge of mathematics, language, and reading and writing acquisition.
• Has a positive outlook, believing that all students can and want to succeed.

• Possesses good analytical skills to follow up and evaluate interventions.
• Takes initiative to help the school's students succeed.

Conditions

Teacher certification for primary school and special education degree. Teacher certification and special education degree must be presented at the interview. The position is a permanent employment with a seasonal position.
