Kramfors School is centrally located in Kramfors, close to both bus and train stations. The school is an institution for grades 4-6 with approximately 300 students. Within the unit, there is also a special needs school for grades 1-9 and an after-school program. The after-school program is integrated with the school's activities and offers students a safe and stimulating environment before and after school hours.

We are now looking for a recreational teacher with a focus on sports and health.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a recreational teacher with a focus on sports and health, you contribute to creating an active, safe, and meaningful school day where movement and community are a natural part of the students' development. You are responsible for teaching sports and motor skills for students in grades 1-9 within the special needs school. The position also includes mentorship for students in the after-school program.

The assignment includes working in accordance with the school's and after-school program's governing documents, curriculum, and national goals, where teaching is designed to promote students' knowledge development, safety, and study environment. During school hours, you work with students in class, individually, or in smaller groups and provide support in various situations throughout the school day, such as during lessons, breaks, transitions between activities, and in other social contexts. Through a relational approach, you contribute to strengthening students' safety, motivation, and participation in school.

You also contribute to the school's collective development work and actively participate in systematic quality work.

Placement, grades, classes, and subjects may vary throughout the year and between different school years based on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a recreational teacher certification with a focus on sports and health, or other education that the employer deems relevant.
• Has documented good collaboration skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a good ability to organize and structure your work.
• Has a solution-focused approach and a very good ability to create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Can adapt working methods and activities based on students' daily conditions and needs, and actively contribute to a safe and positive school environment throughout the school day.
• Works from a low-arousal approach and has the ability to meet students in various situations in a calm, structured, and professional manner.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

A valid driver's license (B) is an asset.
