About the role

As a Social Studies teacher at IES Sundsvall, you will teach in grades 7-9 and create an inspiring learning environment where students develop their theoretical skills and problem-solving competencies. Mentorship is an important part of the role, meaning you will also support students in their social and academic development.

Instruction is conducted in Swedish, but since we are an international school, good knowledge of English is also essential.

The role will involve teaching Social Studies primarily in grades 7-9.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Social Studies for grades 7-9.
• Has a passion for Social Studies to inspire students to think critically and solve problems.
• Is an engaged and enthusiastic educator with deep subject knowledge.
• Is positive, solution-oriented, and a team player who values collaboration and engagement.
• Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
