Currently, over 1200 students have chosen to complete their upper secondary education with us! Västermalm currently offers 8 upper secondary programs: the IB program, the Natural Science Program, the Technology Program, Building and Construction, Vehicle and Transport Program, Industrial Technology Program, Electrical and Energy Program, and the Health and Social Care Program. Västermalm also offers upper secondary engineering education. Västermalm includes adapted upper secondary school and individual alternatives.

How you contribute in the role of teacher

Västermalms Gymnasium would like to recruit a committed and knowledgeable teacher to both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and the Swedish national curriculum.

You will primarily teach in the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme). The language of instruction is English. You are expected to actively participate in the work with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Västermalm.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for a licensed upper secondary teacher in chemistry and biology. You can express yourself very well in both spoken and written English and Swedish. Experience teaching in the IBDP is an advantage.

You are flexible, knowledgeable, engaged, and see opportunities in changes. You have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in teams, and also have the ability to work independently. We wish to recruit a teacher who has a strong commitment to teaching in English and the IB Diploma Programme!
