Special Education Teacher Wanted for Two Well-Functioning F-3 Schools

Haffstaskolan and Mycklingskolan.

The schools have about 100 students per unit. The schools, including after-school care, are geographically separated, with a travel time of about 10 minutes by car. Together with Själevadskolan F-3, students will merge starting from grade 4 at Själevadskolan.

Job Responsibilities

You will work alongside another special education teacher and a special educator. Together with the special educator, special teachers, and the work team, interventions/support/adaptations for students will be planned, such as learning environments, group and individual assessments in accordance with the roles of special teachers and educators. Also included in the job responsibilities are guidance and training/professional development for teachers.

Qualifications

You should have a special education degree and preferably experience in the role from previous positions. You focus on the student, see collaboration as a success factor, and are an active team member. The role involves significant relationship-building, both with students, guardians, teachers, and colleagues with special pedagogical competence as well as student health personnel.

The position will be divided between two school units with as few relocations as possible; therefore, having a driver's license is beneficial.
