About the job:

We at Prästbordet are looking for an inspiring and engaged physical education teacher who wants to help shape our leisure activities. Are you an engaged teacher who is passionate about creating a meaningful and developing leisure program? Then you might be just the person we are looking for!

With us, preparation time between different assignments is a given. As a physical education teacher, your planning time is scheduled during school hours, both individual and joint planning time in the work team.

Prästbordet School is located in a residential area in central Sollefteå and is integrated with preschool and after-school care. The school accommodates about 90 students from preschool to third grade. The school is in immediate proximity to forest and nature. The local environment is used in teaching, and students have access to a school forest with shelters and a barbecue area. The school's vision is to create a school with a calm and permissive learning climate. A school where students feel safe and develop their ability to take personal responsibility for their daily education.

The vision of the after-school program is that all students should feel safe and thrive, and that they have a meaningful leisure time in accordance with the governing documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You want to make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You will show and make it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways throughout the day. During the school day, you will be present as a collaborative physical education teacher. Your role during the school day will include teaching physical education. We also focus on meaningful breaks with play activities, and you will be one of our responsible and valuable break supervisors.

Together with the work team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the teaching based on the curriculum for after-school care. You will lead and develop the pedagogical work and create the best possible conditions for each student.

Additionally, the job means that you will continue to contribute to making Prästbordet School and after-school care a place where every student wants to be, thrive, and develop to reach their full potential. In the afternoons, the after-school program conducts educational activities based on the after-school curriculum part 4.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed leisure educator, has a positive outlook, and believes in people. Understanding the value of relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues is likely your greatest quality. Furthermore, you are a skilled and engaged physical education teacher who prioritizes the after-school program's operations.
