Alnöitskolan is a school that provides students with the best opportunities and conditions to have their entire educational journey in a safe, coherent, and equitable context from the first day of preschool to the last day of grade 9. Located on the heights of Ankarsvik, we have approximately 220 students, which gives us the security and closeness of a smaller school, but the opportunities and frameworks of a larger school. We offer students a high-quality, teacher-led education that prepares them for a constantly changing society. In this work, we are looking for teachers who combine subject expertise with good relationships and creative ideas. Those who think outside the box, but within the governing documents.

For the school year 26/27, we are now seeking teachers for after-school care or individuals with equivalent experience and other education deemed relevant. We have an after-school program for approximately 90 students divided into two departments and are looking for someone who wants to take primary responsibility for our younger students. Together with colleagues in the work team and teachers for grades F-5, we will develop the after-school program to create an important and meaningful leisure time for our children and youth.

Depending on your skills and interests, other tasks may also be included in the position, such as teaching subjects, organizing break activities, or providing resource support in class.

Alnöitskolan believes in every student's ability to succeed and do right, and it is our mission to provide them, with our support, the best conditions for this. We value relational leadership. We also prioritize work with health and sustainability and have two different working groups with a special focus on these areas. The school also has access to its own sports hall and a large school forest with good opportunities for outdoor education. Especially in after-school care, this is something we work a lot with.

We are looking for someone who;

•    Is confident and experienced in working in after-school care, but also curious about development.

•    Meets the student where they are and has the attitude in every student interaction that the child always wants to succeed; our mission is to give them the best conditions for that.

•    Has a low-arousal approach in interactions with students and strategies for how we can best act when challenged.

•    Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in teams.

•    Has a reflective approach and actively works to develop your and the school's teaching methods.

•    Plans, documents, and implements your teaching with good quality.

•    Possesses good communication skills and strives to create good relationships with both students, colleagues, and guardians.
