ABOUT THE POSITION

Your role will focus on promoting understanding and improving communication to develop the language skills required in daily work – whether it is done individually, with a colleague, or in a larger group. You will have access to extensive lesson materials and support from Acolad, but you will need to have your own laptop/computer with a reliable internet connection for lesson planning and preparation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
As a Swedish teacher for Acolad, you will provide language instruction to non-Swedish speaking employees at a well-known company in Ludvika. You will hold about one to three lessons per week, with each lesson lasting 90 minutes. These lessons will be conducted on-site. You will plan and prepare engaging lessons based on the provided materials. You will create a supportive learning environment tailored for adult learners in a professional setting, and also provide cultural insights to help employees integrate smoothly into the Swedish work culture.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Is currently training to become a teacher or has an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, if you have another primary occupation of at least 50% and have previous work experience in teaching
- Has Swedish as a native language or can provide TISUS, Swedex, or other certificates proving that you possess the required language skills
- Has good organizational and communication skills
- Is independent and can create a motivating learning environment
- Has good IT skills and is comfortable with MS Office
- Has good knowledge of English as it is used in internal collaboration
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience as a teacher
- Experience teaching the Swedish language
