We are looking for someone who wants to work as a teaching educator in vocational Swedish in Sundsvall. We are now seeking someone who wants to become part of our team in vocational Swedish. You will teach individuals who need language education within specific professions. The education consists of theory, workplace-based learning, and individually tailored language training.

Job Responsibilities

As a vocational Swedish educator, you will teach foreign-born participants Swedish related to their industry/profession. This is a job where you will have more time for teaching as traditional grading administration is not included. You will have opportunities to work creatively with method development and use new technology for language learning. You will have educational and enjoyable collaborations with vocational teachers and professionals. You will have coordinators and a pedagogical supervisor to assist you in your work. The job involves continuous dialogue with the Employment Service, collaboration with other actors also conducting labor market education, and building networks with employers. It is important that you stay updated on what is happening in the labor market and in the business community.

Background and Personal Qualities

• A relevant vocational education of at least one (1) year full-time in the professional area you intend to teach, as well as at least two (2) years of teaching experience in a professional area for newly arrived or foreign-born individuals with limited knowledge of Swedish.

Digital tools are a given, and you see this as an aid for your own pedagogy and the student's learning.

Meritorious

• Experience working for a supplementary actor to the Employment Service.
• Experience working with individuals who have not yet acquired good knowledge of the Swedish language.

Part-time

The position is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension.

Start date according to agreement.
