Your new workplace
Stöde School is a K-9 school located about a 40-minute drive west of Sundsvall.
The school has around 260 students and an after-school program with almost 100 children. We are 45 employees working together in various roles. At Stöde School, we develop together with our eyes on the future, aiming to be a stable and safe knowledge hub for both students and staff. Our organization is characterized by short decision-making paths, joy at work, and great commitment. We have a well-functioning student health work where all professions collaborate to ensure every student succeeds.
Your contribution as a teacher
As a science and technology teacher at our school, you will teach biology, physics, chemistry, and technology. You are responsible for creating a learning environment where every student has the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities:
- Teach and create structured, varied, and engaging lessons in science subjects and technology for grades 7-9.
- Adapt teaching based on each student's needs to ensure that everyone achieves their goals.
- Assess and follow up on students' knowledge development, provide constructive feedback, and support their learning processes.
- Use digital tools and IT to make teaching more relevant and inspiring, and as an IT inspirer, support colleagues in digital processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the school's pedagogical work and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a teaching license with qualifications to teach science and technology.
- Is structured and has a good ability to plan and organize your teaching effectively.
- Shows great commitment to students' learning and has the ability to put each student at the center.
- Is passionate about sparking and developing students' curiosity and interest in science and technology.
- Has very good digital competence and experience working with digital tools to develop and improve teaching.
- Is flexible, communicative, and enjoys collaborating with others to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
