The Högakustenskolan is a smaller school for grades 7–9 with about 170 students, located in Skog, Kramfors Municipality. On the same site, there is also the Högakustenskolan's F–6 school.

At the school, the entire staff works closely together around the students. Engagement and belief in the future are important values for us, as well as high expectations for our students. We work with a holistic perspective where every student should feel safe, responsible, and independent, which creates a good foundation for knowledge acquisition. For the autumn term of 2026, we are now looking for a teacher for grades 6-9 in French and physical education, or another subject.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach French and physical education, or in another subject combination. You belong to the middle school work team but also teach grade 6 in modern languages.

Your role includes mentorship together with a mentor colleague for a class of students. In this role, you are part of a work team where we collectively work to develop teaching, plan, and follow up with the curriculum as well as the municipality's and the organization's goals as benchmarks. We allocate time and resources for collegial learning that occurs both in subject teams and in work teams. We have high expectations of ourselves and our students. We work together towards the goals and have a clear plan and structure for our joint work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in the subject of modern languages, specifically French. It is an advantage if you have qualifications in additional subjects. Previous experience is also meritorious.

You are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their individual conditions. You have a clear focus on the student's development towards the goals in accordance with the curriculum and work systematically with quality improvements. You are confident in your leadership and serve as a good role model. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate but also take your own initiatives and make independent decisions in your work situation.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
