Resele School is located in Myre, Resele, about 25 km NNW of Sollefteå. The school and preschool operate under the same roof in premises that were put into use in 1995.

With proximity to both forests, water, and beautiful surroundings, including a two-minute walk to the Ångerman River, the school has an unbeatable outdoor environment enriched with nature trails in adjacent hills. There are also illuminated trails, a full-size football field, and an ice hockey rink directly adjacent to the school.

In Resele, advocates for the small school unit can note that its advantages are built into the operations. The school houses an after-school program whose activities are based on current governing documents.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

If the necessary decisions are made, we are now looking for a teacher in after-school care/recreation pedagogue for the Resele principal area, with placement in Resele after-school care.

In your professional role in Resele after-school care, you will be responsible for creating good conditions for learning throughout the students' entire day at school and working to develop the students' abilities, both academically and socially, in accordance with the governing documents.

You will serve both in the after-school program and in the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a certified teacher in after-school care/recreation pedagogue, preferably in combination with subject qualifications in music, sports, English, or other subjects that may be advantageous.
  • is well acquainted with the governing documents of schools and after-school programs and has the ability to implement them in practice in an enjoyable and clear manner.
  • is engaged and focuses on the student's development and learning.
  • is attentive to the context you are in.
  • has good communication skills.
  • is a secure person, good at collaborating, and is a natural leader for the student group. You value good relationships and good cooperation with colleagues and guardians.

Requirement: Driver's license B

For this position, presenting an extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
