The number of students in the area is about 110, with Öhn School being the largest unit where you will also have your team affiliation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The special educator has the overall responsibility for the schools' special educational work and is part of the schools' student health team. Together with the student health teams, educators, and school management, you create conditions for high goal fulfillment. We work proactively and preventively according to the EHM model together with the educators.

We focus on the best interests of the student and that each student should reach as far as possible based on their conditions and opportunities. The assignment includes guiding colleagues in working with groups and students in need of special support.

The assignment also includes collaborating with students, guardians, and educators, as well as assisting in the establishment of, for example, extra adaptations and action programs. It also includes conducting special educational investigations at the individual, group, and organizational levels and collaborating with other actors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching certification.

We are looking for someone who is a trained special educator. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in the role and are familiar with assessment tools and can apply the governing documents. We seek someone who is cooperative, outgoing, and responsible. You are interested in developing yourself and your way of working, are willing to think outside the box, and have the ability to plan, implement, and follow up on operations. You have basic computer skills to use the IT tools we have for teaching.

Requirement: Driver's license B.

For this position, presenting a criminal record extract from the police is a prerequisite for employment.
