Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the school's special education team with the task of closely collaborating with teachers to support the school's students in achieving their goals. Your main responsibilities include special education, needs assessment, and guidance.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a special education teacher degree.

We seek someone who enjoys challenges and thinking innovatively, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a secure adult and a clear leader. Being a role model and creating a positive atmosphere in the student group and work team is a given for you.

We would like you to have experience in leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are attentive, responsible, engaged, and creative.

We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.

In our municipality, several positions are classified in security class, so a security review may occur. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
