Your new workplace

Sundsvall Gymnasium/Hedbergska is an attractive and centrally located school; currently, over 1,000 students have chosen to complete their upper secondary education with us.

At Hedbergska, there are five upper secondary programs: the Economic Program, the Aesthetic Program, the Sales and Service Program, the Restaurant and Food Program, and the Social Science Program. We are a successful UF school and have had students who have reached the UF National Championships for more than 25 years in a row.

We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable upper secondary teacher in psychology, preferably in combination with another subject, who wants to be part of the Economic Program! You are interested in quality education, student learning, and teaching.

Your contribution as a teacher

You will teach psychology, but possibly also in other subjects based on your qualifications. You will belong to the Economic Program, but teaching will also take place in other programs. The position includes mentorship and taking part in and being responsible for the tasks within program and subject teams. You will work independently, as well as together with colleagues and students, in subject and program teams to plan and implement the educational activities. You will focus on students' goal fulfillment in collaboration with school management and colleagues. You will actively participate in the school's systematic quality work, collegial learning, and professional development. We have a well-developed collaboration between the school's various professions, which provides you with good support in different parts of the work.

Your qualifications and experience

We are primarily looking for a licensed upper secondary teacher in psychology. We value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs. You are flexible, knowledgeable, engaged, and see opportunities in changes. You have the ability to work independently and strive to prepare students for higher education every day.
